Hem Utomlands, Swedish for Home Abroad, was set up in 2007 and became in most ways a great success. We had 1,200 properties in 50 countries that were advertised for sale and rental to Scandinavians. We have had between 12,000 and 15,000 individual visitors every month.
Initially all advertising was free but later we charged 5 euros for every ad for a 12-month period. In spite of all the success, and the many kind comments that we have received as to contents and layout, the balance between advertising income and work load did not turn out the way we had hoped.
We have therefore decided to change the focus of Hem Utomlands. In the future we shall only advertise objects where we ourselves are involved as agents or representatives. Today, this means that we shall mostly work with properties in Greece, Malayisa and Brazil, some of the most interesting areas for property investments today. Paid advertisements from these and other countries will remain on the portal for the time agreed.
We wish you welcome to a new and exciting Hem Utomlands!
